Frequently Asked Questions

How does Clementine To Go work?

Easy! Browse the designs and click on the one you want to use for your stationery. Once in the collection page, you’ll see each item in the suite listed as a product. You can either choose the Full Suite which includes: an invitation, info card, rsvp card, envelope liner, printed addressed RSVP envelopes and printed addressed invitation envelopes, or you can choose each item a la carte. Choose the quantity you need for each item and checkout! After checkout you will receive guided instructions on how to submit your information to us for each item in the suite and your addresses for printed envelopes if you selected that. Email us with any questions: info@clementinetogo.com

what about save the dates or wedding announcements?

The Invitation card is essentially just a template with the design- so you can turn it into anything you want! Since all of the copy on the card will be your own, just choose the style you love and checkout with just the invitation piece. Then when you receive the order confirmation with guidance on how to submit your copy and information, just include your save the date or wedding announcement info as the copy! You’ll receive a digital proof to approve before it’s printed (or sent to you a digital file if you selected the digital only option). Feel free to email us if you need help with what to say on your card!

Can I customize any colors?

The suites were designed to incorporate a color scheme fit for a majority of wedding styles so no customization would be necessary. Some designs allow for different colorway options and are noted as such in the suite page. That being said, if you are in love with a suite but would like to swap out one floral color for another, please get in touch with your request and we’ll determine if it’s doable. Please note that any customizations will incur an additional fee.

Do I need an RSVP card?

Personal preference! If you’re using a wedding website that has the option to RSVP online, then you don’t need a physical RSVP card unless you want one. Keep in mind that some guests aren’t always comfortable using technology and might prefer a physical RSVP card. RSVPing online is a good way to cut costs if you’re budgeting on details, as you won’t need to pay for the RSVP envelopes or stamps in addition to the card.

How many invitation sets do I need to order?

As a rule of thumb, couples generally send one invitation set per household. We highly suggest that you order at least 10 more sets than your household count. Some get lost in the mail or you choose to add guests later on, so you should have some extras on hand. You’ll also want to keep at least one set for yourself and/or your families as a keepsake and remember to also give a set to your photographer to include in wedding photos!

What is the turnaround time?

Typically 3 weeks. Proofs of your invitations will be digitally emailed to you within 1 week of ordering. Pending your timely approval, they will be sent to the printer where production typically takes 1 week to complete. Please keep in mind that we proudly work with our local small business printer and there are real humans creating your invitations with care. As such, small delays are sometimes inevitable. Please prepare in advance to allow enough time. Your invitations will be shipped out to you via UPS Ground to ensure a safe and timely delivery.

What’s the return policy?

Due to the made-to-order nature of wedding stationery, all sales are final. You will receive proofs of your designs before going to print to approve all details so there won’t be any surprises in the final product!

How does the “digital only” option work?

This option is for people who don’t need printed invitations. Whether you have someone you know who can print them for you, or you prefer to send your invitations digitally via email or an online program, this is a great option for you! The files will be sent to you as JPEGs or a PDF for you to use as you’d like. We highly recommend printing your invitations with us as we proof, color check and quality control each suite and print on archival, sustainable paper stock that holds up well to our color-heavy printed designs. We cannot vouch for the quality of the designs when produced outside of our printing partner.

Can I buy additional stationery in the same suite, like menus, programs or table #’s?

“Day-of” items are being added to the site in the near future so be sure to check back around 6-8  weeks before your wedding date when you’ll need to order those items!

Do you stuff and seal the envelopes for me?

Nope! We send you your suite safely packaged for you to assemble yourselves so we could keep it as affordable as possible. Pro tip: order a pizza and build a night around stuffing envelopes with your family! You only get to send out wedding invitations once (hopefully :) so spend some time with them and enjoy the process!

How do I know what stamps to buy?

Glad you asked! Did you know that you can buy tons of beautiful designs right on USPS.com? Filter by “Forever” stamps, as 1 Forever stamp is good for up to 1 oz. Your stuffed envelope should typically weigh just under 1 oz. If you have more than the typical inserts in your envelope (invitation, rsvp card, info card, envelope liner) and are unsure, then take a stuffed envelope to your nearest USPS, UPS or FedEx where they’ll be able to weigh it for you.
